FAQs

frequently asked questions

1. What is financial advice?
Financial advice is about understanding your financial goals and putting a plan in place which will help you achieve them. Financial Advisers are trained experts who can help you build, manage and protect your wealth.

2. What is the financial advice process?
To provide you with the best financial advice, we will ask questions about your current financial situation to completely understand your financial and lifestyle goals. We take the time to discuss your options and tailor a strategy specifically for you, then present our recommendations and make sure you understand it clearly and are comfortable to proceed. Once we have the ball rolling, it’s time to sit back and relax! We will check in within the first 6 – 12 months with updates and review your plan if required. You can read about the complete process here.

3. How much does it cost?
Prices are individually based and depend on the complexity of your plan. One of our advisers will be able to explain the fees when they work out your plan.

4. What should I bring to the first appointment?
We would recommend you bring the following:
• Current superannuation statement
• Your most recent tax return
• Any insurance information you have
• A list of your assets
• Your current budget

5. What qualifications should a financial adviser have?
At a minimum, we recommend that a financial adviser should have a diploma, an advanced diploma or degree qualification in a relevant discipline such as finance, economics, accounting or financial planning.
