Michael Carroll

Senior Financial Adviser

Michael is the principal adviser leading the Infocus Frankston team.  Michael has been advising for over 20 years now and provides holistic financial planning advice to his diverse range of clients. 

Prior to joining Infocus, Michael worked as a Senior Financial Adviser with Australian Unity Personal Financial Services Ltd from March 2016 until October 2018 and for Perpetual Private as a Senior Adviser from March 2001 to March 2016. 

Michael holds a Batchelor of Business in Economics & Management, and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning.  He is an Associate Member of the Financial Planning Association and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Michael is a former Board Director of Peninsula Health serving from July 2012 finishing his three year term in June 2015.  Michael is also a former Board Director of the youth mentoring program, Big Brothers Big Sisters and a former mentor to a ‘little’ himself.

A permanent resident of the Mornington Peninsula for over 15 years, Michael is currently involved in a number of school and community groups. 

Michael is a former member of the Royal Australian Naval Reserve having joined in 1991.  He is also a former staff member of the Australian Navy Cadets having retired in 2022 holding the rank of Lieutenant.
